This 19th Ward attic has been converted to comfortable year-round space. The homeowner then added drywall to make a fully finished room.

This Rochester home had very little insulation in the attic, and lots of air-gaps beneath it.  We removed the dirty insulation, and replaced it with a thick layer of blown cellulose to fill all the voids, and provide plenty of comfort.

The ducts running through this icy cold basement in downtown rochester were so cold that the furnace could barely keep up.  Sealing the rim joists (at the top of the foundation wall) keeps the cold winter air out of the basement, so your furnace doesn't have to work as hard.

Duct chases starting in the basement can worsen the "Stack Effect" in your home, pulling cold basement air up into your walls, and pulling warm air from your walls up into the attic. For this reason we proceeded to seal around all air ducts.
