This is the living room of the historic Owego home with drafty original windows.
-
Indow window inserts ship with a opaque white protective film covering the insert. When they're installed, the protective film is removed. Here we see the inserts leaning against a wall.
-
This is a beautiful window, and was perfectly fine for the 1800s, but it wasn't very efficient by today's standards.
-
Once the protective film is removed from the Indow window insert, it virtually disappears. Tony has pressed the Indow insert into place, and is about to remove the shipping film.
-
This old home is filled with hand-crafted beauty throughout -- from the window trim, to the grand staircase, to this parquet floor in the hallway.
-
Tony lines up the top of the insert...
Makes sure the bottom is in place...
and then presses in the sides to make a solid airtight seal.
-
This old window isn't drafty anymore because the insert is now in place. Can you see the insert in the photo? It's there!

You can see the Indow window insert in this close-up shot.
